Mod Rewrite issues

Great script! However, I can't get my rewrite urls to spider. The problem is that many of my links are to directories. When spidering, the script adds a trailing slash which leads to 404 issues.

Any solution to remove the slash?

Configure the server to allow directory browsing or create an automatic html index. Then, just index.
