Never edit the configure file directely. Always use the admin backend to modify your settings.

Additionally:
If you don't like to receive invalid suggestions, do not use the 'Word stemming' option.

Sorry, but I do not understand your last posting. Please explain in a more clear manner.

Is the suggested word the word as indexed before?
What do you mean with 'make it link them'?
If you enter the suggested word into the search form, which result listing do you get?

Hello!

Trying post agia!
My posts does not appear here!

It does not link the sugeste word.
It shows but does not link.

For example

If I type Carloz it shows:

Did you mean Carlos?
but it should say:
Did you mean Carlos, linked.

Kind regards,

Carlos

This is a moderated forum. Consequently you will have to wait for publishing until the admin or a moderator will approve your posting. Not all posts will accepted in this forum.

<<< If I type Carloz it shows: Did you mean Carlos? >>>
So you are not discussing the 'Suggest' framework, but 'Did you mean'.
Well, for me it is well linked and addressing the link by a click, the new search term is placed into the search form.
If it does not work for you, your Sphider installation might be corrupted. The 'Did you mean' message is created in row 8 of script
…/templates/your_template/search_results.html
If a new installation with original scripts as per download does not solve your issue, your server settings might cause your problem. Verify the options in …/php/php.ini
And ensure that the setting
allow_url_fopen = On
is enabled.

Hello!

I can locate search_results.html, it is ok.

But my php.ini does not exist in root directory
I suppose it is not working, because some weeks ago a
hacker invaded some host servers so they put the "allow_url_fopen = OFF"
disabling this function.

Kind regards,

Carlos
