Is it possible to use Sphider to make a website like this..?

Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible for me to use Sphider for a search database on a website that I'd be building, similar to this:

https://www.zagat.com/cape-cod

It's very important that I am able to design this type of website, but I've been having some difficulty in learning MySql. Please, any advice would be great.

Thanks!
Tec

Sphider is a search engine, which is based on indexing websites. Thus extracting keywords from the full text of the indexed pages. The user may query for these keywords. Order of result listing will be calculated by the weight of the keyword, calculated by means of a Sphider specific algorithm, taking into consideration:
words_in_page, word_in_title, title_weight, word_in_domain, domain_weight, word_in_path, path_weight, meta_keyword, meta_weight and path_depth.

On the other hand https://www.zagat.com offers results based on human based suggestions. You just need to read
https://www.zagat.com/about-us/our-history
to find out that pure indexing of websites, like Sphider does, is another approach than Tim & Nina Zagat offer at their website.

You're right,,, I see what you mean. For some reason I thought it was a search engine used on that website.
