Starting multiple indexing jobs

What will happen if I start more than one indexing job at a time?

Does this corrupt my database?

e.g. I open more than one one admin page and start indexing a site in each browser window/tab.

I'am currently using Firefox as Browser.

When I have one running indexing job in one Browsertab and I try to start a scond indexing job in a second Browsertab, it waits and starts after the first job has finished.

Are there any Solution to index more than one website at a time?

Emil,

the best thing there is to do is start the indexing job from the command line or prompt depending on your operating system.
the command line should read php -f spider.php xxxxxxxxx the command line options go here....

This of course if you do have sh access to your server (case linux) ... even remote desktop will do....
If.... you instist in doing it with a browser... do one job with Firefox, another with IE another with netscape.... they will not interfere one with each other... don't go for the tab solution....
