Order Search Results By Rating 1-5

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to ORDER BY search results by rating (1-5). The rating will be stored in a field within the links table and added manually by myself. The database would call on the ratings field during a "search by ratings" request. The search engine would still do its normal search of finding pages with relevant words however when the searcher requests an order by ratings request, the rating field will overide the revelance ordering of the results and display all relevant pages in order of ratings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also ORDER BY search results by date could be useful. Any ideas on that?

Good idea. Through this we can view the old and latest and we can find it easily.
