I believe that if you reindex a site with a good must not include string everything that does include that string will be removed from the database.
For instance, if your site consists of .html pages you can place .html in the must not include box and reindex.
After that all pages with a .html extension will have been removed from the index.
Now you can do a reindex without a must include/must not include string, all removed pages will be reindexed.
